Hail Storm!
August 26, 2006 in the Howard, CO area, a rain and hail storm dumped almost an inch of rain in about 30 minutes and up to quarter sized hail was measured several inches deep in several places. Most gardens are ruined, shrubs and trees have been shredded, but rumer has it that the weeds made it. There has also been some damage to buildings,
such as skylights broken out in a few barns.
