The Historical Society has another fun event planned for Saturday, May 21st.flyer for our Silent Movie Night, Movie night will be held at the old Howard School at the top of the hill on County Road 4 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will be hosted by Al Rule and Jane Browning.  We don’t know how many people to expect so we’re asking people to bring lawn chairs.

We also thought it would be fun if people would dress up in Old West costumes—those who do will get free popcorn and pop!  Michael and I are planning to dress up and take care of the concession stand.

Talon Canterbury has offered to come and tell a little bit about the background of silent movies, especially in the Canon City area.  He may also do a little cowboy poetry.

We hope you can come and join us—I think it will be fun!  Please help us SPREAD THE WORD!
